The Box Factory for the Arts has created a new fundraiser and opportunity for artists to display their works. Our Miniatures 2024 fundraiser challenges artists of all artistic levels to “Give a Little Love” by creating miniature works of art for donation to the Box Factory for the Arts. Proceeds from sales of the miniatures will support the Box Factory’s ongoing commitment to showcase regional art and creativity through exhibitions, classes, and events.

Artwork must be a finished size of 4” x 6” exactly, vertical or horizontal, and be on heavy stock paper, rigid backing, photo paper, or other hangable material. Frames are not necessary. All media (2D and 3D) are welcome, including paint, pencil, ceramic, textile, glass, and wood; however, heavy pieces must include a secure hanging device. Creativity and originality are appreciated and sought by buyers.

Please read and follow Rules for Submitting Miniatures. (Also found at

Submissions for the show are accepted now through January 11 at the Box Factory, 1101 Broad St. They can be dropped off between noon and 3 p.m., Thursday through Sunday (Box Factory for the Arts Gallery Winter Hours). For mail-in submissions, call the number below for instructions. All miniatures are considered a donation to the Box Factory and will be sold for $30, with proceeds going to the “Give a Little Love” fundraiser.

Be among the first to see the show and pick your favorites! The public reception, which will also be the opening for the first series of the 2024 Gallery Exhibition Series, is Friday, January 19, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Miniatures will be on exhibit and available for purchase through February 25, 2024.
