Board of Directors Election

Thank you to everyone who voted in the Berrien Artist Guild Board of Directors election process from June 15-21. Congratulations to Alaina, Salle and Heather for winning the majority of the votes. 

Selection Timeline:

  • June 1: Interest Form and Photo Submission Deadline

  • June 3 – 7: Governance Committee reviews applicants

  • June 15 – 21: Online Voting for Berrien Artist Guild Members

  • June 22: Election Results Announced

  • July 13: First Board of Directors Meeting (5:30PM, 3rd Floor Conference Room)

  • August: Berrien Artist Guild Annual Meeting and Potluck

Duties Include:

  • Serving on Committees, Membership, Governance, Marketing, Fundraising, Entertainment, Gallery, and Buildings & Grounds

  • Volunteer at Events, like gallery receptions, Makers Market, and open houses

  • Provide Governance for the Berrien Artist Guild managing the Box Factory for the Arts

Requirements:

  • Attend Board Meetings, 5:30PM each 2nd Monday of the Month

  • Be an active Berrien Artist Guild Member

  • Have enthusiasm for nurturing and supporting the arts in our community
