Whether you love to view art, make art, buy art or share art, we hope you’ll join us for one of our new ArtJam at the Box events. They’re all about fostering community and experiencing creativity in a fun and welcoming environment.  While each ArtJam has a unique theme, you’ll always be able to meet artists in their studios, enjoy some music or a drink from the bar, and explore our amazing historic building. So bring your friends, bring your family, heck, bring that neighbor you barely know… We can’t wait to hang out with ALL of you!

ArtJam at the Box events are always FREE and OPEN TO ALL.  

WINTER ArtJam – Friday, February 13, 6-9PM – “Give a Little Love”

Featuring our annual “Miniatures Show” fundraiser, this is the night where we celebrate the small things that bring us big joy: art, friends, community, and creativity.  We’ve challenged artists of all levels to create small works, and they’ll go on sale during this event for only $35 each. Your purchase of small art can have a big impact on the work we do here at the Box!  In addition to the Miniatures Show fundraiser, the Winter ArtJam will include:

  • Chill vibes at the Vinyl Listening Lounge, hosted by Phaseshifter Records
  • Open Studios and Art Exhibits on all three floors of our historic factory building
  • Creative stations where you can make your own miniature artwork
  • Beer, wine, and NA drinks available for purchase at The Box Bar

SPRING ArtJam – Friday, May 1, 6-9PM – “Face/Off: A Live Painting Event”

Featuring local artists painting or drawing from live models, you’ll see each artist’s unique process as portraits take shape from start to finish, right before your eyes. Keep an eye on your favorite portrait, because you can bid on the finished pieces at the end of the night and take home a one-of-a-kind creation!  In addition to live portrait painting, the Spring ArtJam will include:

  • Open Studios and Art Exhibits on all three floors of our historic factory building
  • Creative stations where you can make your own artwork
  • Delicious gluten-free baked treats for sale from our friends at Bake Effect
  • Beer, wine, and NA drinks available for purchase at The Box Bar
