Art Galleries

Three galleries, the Robert R. Williams Gallery and the Heartha Whitlow Gallery on the main floor, and the Riverwalk Gallery on the lower level feature work by Berrien Artist Guild members and invited artists. The exhibits, which change every six weeks, begin with an opening reception that is free to the public. The Gallery Committee reviews and selects regional artists interested in displaying work.

The Box Factory is currently home to more than 40 local artists who are also members of the Berrien Artist Guild. Each artist establishes hours independent of Box Factory hours. Several artists offer private instruction and classes through our education program.

Kristin Hosbein paints in the plein air tradition, using color, form and values to interpret the unfolding scene. The work she creates in the studio is painted using a similar process with the occasional addition of wax and alkyd mediums to the oil colors. She also will use charcoal sticks to draw into the paintings, creating textures that might not be accomplished by brush alone. See featured artist
